My Target Audience




Plan: Scene starts with a mother in an ancient egyptian setting caressing her pregnant belly, then skips to a scene where she is giving birth (does not specifically show her giving birth it just shows screams, then skips to when the baby is in cart, egyptian god bless her w bracelet then she grows to be cleopatra

1. Product/Company Description:

  • Company/Product Name: Cartier

  • Product Overview: the Cartier LOVE bracelet, 18K yellow gold. Comes with a screwdriver. Width: 6.1 mm. Created in New York in 1969, the LOVE bracelet is an icon of jewelry design: a close fitting, oval bracelet composed of two rigid arcs which is worn on the wrist and removed using a specific screwdriver.


2. Target Audience Demographics:

  • Age: 30-60

  • Gender: Primarily women, although some men might be interested in the advertisement.

  • Income Level: People with high income

  • Education: Since Cartier is a high-end product, and since this product is targeted to mothers, its customers would most likely be those who have already graduated and is working.

  • Occupation: Business woman, Stay-at-home mom

  • Geographical Location: Worldwide, but mainly in large cities in capital areas, as they tend to have higher income rate, these areas are also where wealthy people usually reside in.


3. Target Audience Psychographics:

  • Interests: My target audience would be people who are interested in history (specifically egyptian history), as the ad will contain features of egyptian history, such as Cleopatra.

  • Lifestyle Choices: The customers who purchase this product most likely have an "old-money" lifestyle, as well as enjoy living a luxurious life.

  • Values and Attitudes: The customers are mothers who love their children and want the best for them. I believe that they value their family a lot. They want their children to be loved by everyone. This will be shown more clearly on the storyboard.

  • Opinions: Their children would most likely be infants or toddlers, some of the customers may worry that their children may nibble on the bracelet and damage their teeth as it is a hard object.


4. Understanding Consumer Behavior:

  • Needs: [Identify the primary needs or desires that the product addresses for the target audience]

  • Pain Points: Since the Cartier bracelet could only be removed using a specific screwdriver, the bracelet would be difficult to take off (or even steal), but again, as it is difficult to take off, and this screwdriver may get lost at some point. The modified product may

Self-reflection:
I was kind of confused with the instructions and what to do or write at first, but I got the hang of it eventually, although I still feel like the result isn't good enough. I found the research part relatively easy, but putting my thoughts into words was rather difficult to do.
