This is my proposal for my storyboard
Cartier is known for a variety of timeless and classic designs that represent the company, such as the Cartier Love Bracelet. Knowing this, I personally love Cartier's designs, specifically their watches and the Love Bracelet, therefore why I chose this product. I think that the bracelet is unique and elegant. Since Cartier's target audience consists of mainly middle aged women from ages 30-45 who has high-income, these women value themselves and most of the time buy Cartier products for themselves, most of these people are likely to not have children. I decided to make an advertisement that could reach a different type of audience, my target audience will be mothers aged 30-60. As My target audience value their family, specifically their children (most likely toddlers or infants). My ad will start with a pregnant egyptian queen caressing her stomach, it then cuts to her giving birth. Then cuts to her carrying the baby girl and suddenly an egyptian god (Ra) appears and comes towards her, giving her baby a blessing (the bracelet) then disappears. The ad will then cut to a scene of the baby already grown (a toddler) running around the palace, then cuts again to her being a pre-teen, then it cuts to her sitting on a throne. This baby is Cleopatra. Throughout all the scenes, she will be wearing the bracelet. In the last scene, the camera shows her smiling and reminiscing her memories with her mother and then pans to her bracelet.
Self reflection:
Although making the proposal has been relatively easy, the story plot that I made for the storyboard seems to take a very long time while the time limit for my ad is 30 seconds. I'll have to find a way to make this plot fit into the time limit, if not, then I should just change the plot all over (this will take way more time and effort).
