Here is the storyboard for the music video project that I (Rachelle) made.
Here is the link to a Google Docs I made, in case the pictures doesn't upload successfully. Reflection This was honestly one of the most fun parts of the project. I myself enjoy drawing a lot, so I was really delighted to be doing this task. At the start, I wanted to give details to each storyboard, but found that this took too long. So, I decided to just go with the usual simple storyboard with brief explanations. A difficulty I faced here was that I found it hard trying to interpret the meanings of some scenes that were annotated on the lyric sheet as I was worried I misunderstood what some of it meant. Additionally, when I asked for feedback from our teacher, he had mentioned that the fight/argument scene happened so out of context that he didn't really know what was going on. So, to fix this I brainstormed with him and my teammates on what we should do instead of just immediately jumping into an argument scene and finally decided that we should add a scene where one of our artists is packing her stuff (graduation hat, picture of her and her friend together) up into boxes and her luggage, while the other artist will be standing in the back sort of nagging her and begging her not to go. This will then lead to the argument. I'm very satisfied with this idea. Next time, I should bring my work to the teacher first before finalizing everything so that I don't have to do double the work of redoing the entire storyboard.
